Every recommendation in this course comes from the video, contact sheets, and eight extracted frames.
Read and test the interactive blocks.
1
A sequence, not improvisation
Take three photos per position without changing light, distance, clothing, hair, or beard. Symmetry across both sides prevents the generator from inventing the unseen side.
The order keeps neutral facial geometry first and moves expression and body later.
2
The eight positions
Nose to lens, level chin, relaxed mouth.

Short direction for every click
neutral face · level chin · eyes open · shoulders low

Spot the error
In profile, where should the eyes look?
Looking straight ahead preserves a true profile. Looking back twists the eyes and face; looking down hides eyelids and changes the jaw line.
